SUMMARY FOR PRAGMATISTS
What are the differences between these different actors in your interiors?
The architect :
- Designs and builds a house or a building
- Renovates the existing building by proposing major structural modifications or extensions
- Is in charge of managing the work from an administrative point of view and can manage the building permits and other documents necessary for the execution of the work.
- He provides solutions to unforeseen problems and inconveniences that may arise during construction.
The interior architect :
- Works on the layout and interior design of the spaces imagined by the architect, keeping in mind the circulation and daily life of his clients
- If relevant, he can call on a design office to develop the existing structure according to the client's wishes.
- Inscribes his work upstream of the decoration, in that he offers a more sustainable layout
Le Homer :
- Is an interior designer specialising in space optimisation and everyday ergonomics
- Centres his creative process around the specificities of the co-inhabitants who will be living in the space
- Has a detailed knowledge of technical constraints
- Is an active listener in order to understand its clients and help them define their needs for today and tomorrow
- Is part of a network that ensures that your project has the right expertise
The Decorator :
- Dresses your interior with colours and materials
- Chooses furniture, lighting and decorative objects according to your tastes to create a harmonious interior
As an Interior Designer - Homer and Decorator, I am convinced that we are always smarter together!
Let's not forget that the ideas of some enrich those of others
